Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat

April 25, 2009

The Graco Nautilus is Graco’s newest 3-in-1 toddler car seat that goes from a 5-poit harness car seat to booster to a backles booster. You can be sure of the product’s quality as Graco is one of the most trusted names when it comes to car seats.

Before buying this I did a TON of research, read through the message boards, went to the store to take a look at them, etc. This car seat replaced our old Britax which was our first car seat, which was fine though a tad pricey.

This time around, with our daughter outgrowing the Britax seat we decided to go with the Graco Nautilus because:
A) Price – although it wasn’t part of the equation, it blows the Britax away.
B) Comfort – Can you say Memory Foam? Our daughter loves the drink holder as well as the toy compartments inside the arm rests.
C) Size – Not gigantic like the Regent and adequate enough for a large child to sit in it.
D) Sturdiness – It has a nice weight and a very sturdy frame.

* The headrest is easily adjustable just make sure that you snap it into place and thread the harness straps through the guides. (This will make lkife much easier for you)

* The 5-point harness system is also easy to adjust and the whole thing installs very easily.

* Before you make your purchase make sure that it could fit in to your car, or you’ll end up very, very disappointed.
– Measurements: When assembled the car seat is 35 inches tall and 19 inches wide.

The Graco Nautilus has a 9 year expiration date, so it’ll probably be the last car seat your child will ever need.
